Todd Kelly is the President of Marketing and Sales for Genesis Information Services (GIS), Inc. He has collaborated with his wife and owner of Genesis, Neille Kelly, since its start in 2010. He received a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from Louisiana State University in 1996 and has been involved with investigation for over 30 years.  

Todd started his journey into investigations at the East Baton Rouge District Attorney’s Office as an investigator before moving into the private investigation field and has since dedicated over 30 years to the insurance industry.

After the District Attorney’s Office, he went into the private sector and became a private investigator for some of the largest companies in the country starting with Inphoto Surveillance. He was a field investigator for more than 15 years. Todd was also a trainer and supervisor. Inphoto was sold and it was time to move on. Todd then joined forces with a local company called Centanni Investigation Agency for another 5 years, handling all the investigations and the assignments.

After Centanni Investigation his wife Neille and Todd opened their own investigation company Genesis Information Services, Inc. Neille, Brent and Todd oversee the daily operations of Genesis. As a team they handle all aspects of the company from sales and marketing to investigation and surveillance. 

Todd has seen and done it all from surveillance, background investigation, locating witnesses, and pursuing fraud cases with the Louisiana State Police.

Todd will be presenting "Behind the Files: Building an Investigative Roadmap". This session will take you inside the life cycle of a claim—starting with the very first question asked at intake. We’ll explore how the right questions at the outset of a Workers’ Compensation or Liability claim can uncover red flags early, guide investigative strategy, and set the stage for effective surveillance. From intake through investigation, surveillance, depositions, and resolution, we’ll show how each phase connects and how smart questioning leads to stronger outcomes and cost savings. The course will be good for 1 hour of CE for Adjusters and Producers (Accident and Health or Sickness & Casualty).
